Hands Off
An exhibition we wish not to be so necessary. But, still here we are. This exhibition will explore sexism anno 2024. Just because you want to touch, doesn’t mean you should.
We are a newly opened gallery space/photostudio of approximately 150sqm in central Copenhagen. We had our first vernissage in February with 250-300 attendees and almost half the exhibited pieces were sold. To get a better feel of the space and last events go to our portfolio.
We have connections in the art and media industry not to mention the corporate IT world – resulting in a diverse audience. Our main goal is to promote up-and-coming artists and create a safe space for connection and dialogue through art.
You
The application should contain your artist statement, portrait, work documentation/proposal and a short text about how it correlates to the theme. 4-6 artists will be selected and physical art pieces should preferably be for sale – exceptions can be made.

Studio 52C will receive 20% commission and artists are responsible themselves for transportation of their artworks.
We take care of
Expenses for hanging and/or installation within reason and installation of the exhibition. SoMe campaigns and marketing including printed material such as catalogues and posters. Drinks and drinks and the vernissage.
